Samuel Zamarripa is an American entrepreneur, author, and civic leader. As founder and proprietor of Familia Vineyards, he owns and operates vineyards and retail locations across North Georgia.

With a distinguished record of business and community leadership, Zamarripa serves as Chairman of Conocer Digital Holdings and Mundo Hispánico, as a board member of AssuranceAmerica Group, and as a trustee of both the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Syracuse University.


A lifelong public servant, he made history as the first Hispanic elected to the Georgia State Senate, representing Atlanta's 36th District for two terms.


Zamarripa holds a BA from New College of Florida and a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
