RFP- Trademark Legal Work

The purpose of the RFP

The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) a 501 (c) (6), is requesting proposals for an attorney or law office/firm to trademark an event logo for the GHCC. This will be a one-time paid opportunity with the possibility of working on future similar projects. Please include your resume and/or law office/firm profile along with a description of related experience.

GHCC

The GHCC mission is to promote and support the domestic and international economic development of Hispanic businesses and individuals, and to serve as a link between non-Hispanic entities and the Hispanic market. Please visit www.ghcc.org for more information.

Qualifications

  • Must have trademark experience.

  • Must be a GHCC member. Non-members are welcome to apply for pro-bono work.

Criteria for Selecting a Vendor

The vendor will be selected based on the following criteria: vendor quality as evidenced by knowledge/expertise in the area and resume/profile; vendor price; vendor's history with the GHCC.

Timeline and Deadline for proposal

The deadline for the proposal is February 19, 2010. The selected contractor will be notified February 26, 2009

RFP-Grant Writer

The Hispanic American Center for Economic Development (HACED) a 501 (c) (3), a supporting organization of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) a 501 (c) (6), is requesting proposals for a grant writer. This will be a part-time contract position. The contractor will get paid for writing and researching grants. The contractor will be expected to research and find grant opportunities for HACED including, but not limited to, the following areas; general operating, small business incubation, and business development and educational outreach. Please include your resume along with a detailed description of grant writing and research experience. Please include: the dollar amount of the grants; the length of the grant; the scope and focus of the grant; and, the agencies to which the grants were awarded.
